Tiger Woods, Michael Jackson.....

Bill Clinton, Hugh Grant, the list goes on.......
Over the years various celebrities have been the subject of media generated, public hatred or derision.
In many cases resulting in a' kangaroo court ' type scenario, geared only to promote yet more media scandel, with the main contributors being members of the public, who have neither met nor known these people, but are an authority on their private lives.
What is this public obsession with bringing down people, who are, lets face it, complete and utter strangers to us?
Celebrities are just that, celebrities, we know of them simply becouse they appear upon our T.V screens. They are not our families, or friends, or neighbours, or work colleagues, so who are we to judge these people?
Their private lives are just that, private, so let's leave it that way, and not give fuel to the fire of gutter journalism.
People in the public eye are very vulnerable to unscrupulous individuals out to make a fast buck from their misfortunes. They leave themselves wide open to anyone trying to use them for their own ends.
Everyone wants to jump on the bandwagon in order to promote themselves or their services, at the cost of another.
Maybe it is becouse our own lives are so drab and unconsequential, or maybe it's a way of bringing some drama into an otherwise boring existance, or maybe it's just pure and simple common or garden jealousy, moral superiority, mans inhumanity to man.
Love these people or loathe them for whatever it is that has brought them fame, but do not condemn another human being, for something we know absolutely nothing about.
Let us infact remember them for what it is they excel at, be it sport, music, acting or public office.
Whatever it is that they have done, or not, (whichever may be the case ),can generate some disappointment within their fans, but surely that is all, this worldwide condemnation, is really rather over the top, becouse in the great scheme of things, does it really matter to each and any one of us, is it really such a big deal, are there not far more important things in life that we could vent our anger towards?
